The Trials and Tribulations of a Novice Airplane Kit Builder
9/29/2007My first entry for the tools section. Below are pics of the table that I built for the C-Frame Dimpler. The C-Frame slides in and out of the table. I can easily pick the table up and lean against a wall for storage. Nice eh?!Also is a modification to the dimpler that I found on the internet to make the thing quiet. Simply pull the handle down and apply a little pressure. No more beating with a hammer!I will update this page with the link to the plans sometime soon. 1/3/2009 - Update... don't bother with this mod. It is useless. x/x/2006Made the rod-bearing tool. It has two attachments, one for the larger bolts on the rudder and one for the smaller ones on the elevators. This avoids any slop when using a single large one. The idea for this tool is not mine, the creator/plans can be found here. I didn't include time on this since it's not really any part of assembling the plane. 1/20/2008Here are most of the tools that I own right now. I will provide a description of each at some point in the future.
