10/22-25/2009 - 8 Hours

Learned this nifty little trick from Phils RV-7 website. I ended up wrapping 3 different straps around it as I was getting scared of one snapping. It took about an hour or so to get it right but it was a heck of a lot better than torching the bends as I have seen other builders do.

90 degrees without the need for shims:

Front brace install... no issues here except I snapped a drill bit off up in the top hole. What a pain the chops to get that out!

Canopy roller track cut and clamped

Canopy frame track that is duck taped to the top of the fuselage.

Canopy rollers, UMHW block on the back of the canopy frame adn then install into the tracks. Final pic is before the bending starts.
