The Trials and Tribulations of a Novice Airplane Kit Builder
6/1-8/2009 - 12 HoursBonaco brake line and vent line install. The left to right side lines were ordered too long (better than short eh) so I had to loop them out a little to take up the slack. No biggie. Regardless, one heck of a lot better than trying to bend all of that crappy aluminum tubing. 5 point harness hardware kit installed. Had to modify the install procedures a little since I installed two of the ribs (1 on either side) incorrectly. This faulty rib install will only generate problems if installing the 5 pt harness like I am. Anyway, basically bent the flanges out and installed a .125x3/4x3/4 aluminum angle to make it all work. Look at the pics closely to understand what I am sayiny. 6/9-30/2009 - 8 HoursAir vent install, brake line to master cylinder on the firewall, securing of passenger control stick per SB, install of CreativAir strobe power supply, remote compass install and final holes drilled for wire runs to tail strobe/light.
